This is where we will post quick updates, funny stories, and some of the challenges of our adventures. 

• Did you ever have a dog who loves walks but is so stubborn sometimes that her 10 pound body somehow becomes stronger than you? There is a 25 foot radius outside of our current condo’s front door where Sunnie plants her feet and refuses to walk 9 times out of 10. Can’t figure it out.🤔 🐕🐶
• One of the things that we really miss is spontaneous get-togethers with friends. The 4pm phone calls or texts to meet up for happy hour or dinner. The chance meetings while walking through town which lead to an evening chatting over cocktails.  Looking forward to recharging our friends and family battery when we return home for Christmas! ❤️😁🎄🥰   
• Packing up the car to drive home for Christmas! We are taking our fully decorated Christmas tree in the car to have in our VRBO. 🎄😁Can’t wait to walk around our beautiful Hallmark movie town. Ligonier, PA here we come! Family and Friends can’t wait to see you! ❤️🎅❄️
• Spent yesterday open house hopping in North Myrtle Beach. We saw a variety of homes from beachfront condos to townhouses on the golf course to a gorgeous house on the marsh. I don’t know if we are any closer to finding out what we want or where we want to rent/purchase. We did make plans to visit Wellen Park near Venice Beach, FL when we travel to Sarasota for a family wedding next week. Also made official plans for stays in Hilton Head, SC, and Charleston, SC. Moving right along! Can’t wait to see our family next week ❤️🤵👰🌴
• Time to pack up and move again! These past two months at Barefoot Resort and Golf flew by!! We have already been on this travel adventure for 4 months and there’s no slowing us down! The next 3 months bring us back to Oak Island, NC. We will use this as our home base from which we will take several short trips. Even though it seems like a lot of work, we really do enjoy packing up and moving to our next place/town. Sunnie is excited too! 🐕❤️😁
• My only regret from this stay at a condo on the 4th tee of the Norman course in the Barefoot Golf Resort is that we never stopped the drink cart as it drove past our screened porch and ordered a cocktail. An adult “ice cream truck” experience would have been the icing on the cake for a wonderful stay here! Oh well, there’s always next time! ⛳🍹
• Whirlwind 6-day side trip to Sarasota, FL and Hilton Head, SC was incredible! So happy to spend time with our daughter Abby, my parents, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins at the wedding! The four-day celebration wasn’t long enough as we soaked up the sun, sipped cocktails, dined on delicious meals, shopped at St. Armand’s Circle, walked along the marina and waterfront parks, enjoyed sipping wine on an art tour, laughed until our cheeks hurt with family, and danced the night away under the twinkle lights. My heart is so full of love for our family❤️. We stayed for 2 nights at VOCO Sarasota and 2 nights at Art Ovation Hotel. Both were exceptional, especially the rooftop bar/pool at Art Ovation and the cozy robes. Loved my daily espresso lounging in my robe 🙂 On the way back to Oak Island, we stopped at Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head for a 2 day stay and play. We toured all of the model homes, stayed in a beautiful villa complete with a lime green golf cart, a margarita machine, cold Landsharks in the fridge, and Margaritaville beach towels as a gift. Fun vibes there with so many custom features in the homes. Sunnie was living her best life on this trip and even got to attend the welcome party at O’Leary’s Tiki Bar, lounge at our rooftop bar, and lunch at Marina Jacks and Coconuts. 🍹😁👰🤵🌴🐕❤️
